As I celebrate three decades in the beauty and wellbeing industry, I find myself reflecting on a journey fueled by an unwavering passion. From the earliest days of my life, I've felt an undeniable connection with the natural world and its profound ability to contribute to our overall well-being.

Throughout my childhood into adulthood, my body grappled with persistent inflammation, predominantly centered around my abdominal area but extending its grip everywhere, day after day. This struggle wasn't just about managing physical pain; it brought along relentless exhaustion and various mental and emotional health challenges. Despite seeking answers, no one could provide a definitive explanation or an effective solution.

In my quest for understanding, I realised that a combination of trauma and environmental factors played a role in my condition.

A further four-year stint on potent antidepressants and anti-inflammatory drugs only intensified my struggles, unleashing a cascade of more aggressive autoimmune illnesses. A benign tumor, comparable in size to a football, accompanied by seven smaller ones, and a diagnosis of Fibromyalgia brought no respite.

Unable to physically manage my businesses, I decided to explore the potential of natural plant medicinals. Drawing inspiration from the time-tested traditions of Ayurvedic Medicine and the profound capabilities of plants, I embarked on a transformative journey that led to the creation of She Effect—a synergy brand crafted to address the holistic well-being of both mind and body.

Traditional medicine, with its roots stretching back thousands of years, has often found its origins in the remarkable properties of plants. Many modern medicines are either derived directly from plants or designed to mimic their effects. My personal odyssey has inspired me to weave together the efficacy of Ayurvedic Medicine with a deep exploration and sharing of the biomedical benefits of plants.
